For those new to our mission, HBPAL is much more than sports. We are a nonprofit organization rooted in service, mentorship, and opportunity. Our work is centered on the idea that every child deserves a safe place to grow, learn, and thrive, regardless of financial circumstances.

Over the past several years, we’ve built a powerful network of programs that now serve over 1,300 kids from across Hallandale Beach. From soccer, baseball, basketball, flag and tackle football to volleyball, track and field, and cheerleading, our sports offerings are just the beginning. We are also proud stewards of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Center, a vital community hub where we host enrichment camps, celebrations, and events in partnership with other like-minded nonprofits. We now offer a nationally supported mentoring programs, family science nights, field trips, a summer tech-sports camp, anti-opioid education, a book club, and community-driven events, such as “Shop with a Cop.”

Our partnerships with the Hallandale Beach Police Department, the City of Hallandale Beach, and local schools are essential to our success, but the true driving force behind HBPAL is you. We rely heavily on community donations and sponsorships to remain operational and deliver programs that have a real, lasting impact on the lives of our youth.

Although we work closely with the City of Hallandale Beach and the Hallandale Beach Police Department, HBPAL is not funded by the City. More than 75% of our families qualify for free or reduced lunch, and many children rely on scholarship support to participate in our programs. We’ve never turned a child away due to inability to pay, and we never will. However, we can only keep that promise with the help of generous donors and community sponsors.

When you support HBPAL, you’re not just backing a program; you’re helping a child find their confidence. You’re helping a young person stay off the streets by connecting them to a positive, structured program. You’re making space for kids to dream bigger, aim higher, and grow through everything HBPAL has to offer. Let’s continue building something that lasts. Any person, organization, or business who donates an amount of $5000 or more within one year to the PAL program.

Receives:

  • A Special badge 8x10 plaque announcing their sponsorship in PAL.

Gold Member: 

Any person, organization, or business who donates an amount of $2500 or more within one year to the PAL program.

Receives:
