The Hallandale Beach Police Athletic League (HBPAL) is a nationally affiliated program operated by the Hallandale Beach Police Department to strengthen relationships between law enforcement, youth, and the community through recreational sports. HBPAL offers year-round programming that gives children the opportunity to participate in two to three sports each month, including football, flag football, basketball, baseball, soccer, cheerleading, track and field, and volleyball. By combining structured athletics with community connection, HBPAL promotes mentorship, trust, and positive youth development while reinforcing the bond between police and the families they serve.

Our Sports
The Police Athletic League of Hallandale Beach (HBPAL) currently manages over a dozen athletic seasons across eight core sports throughout the year. At any given time, three or more sports are active—offering youth consistent opportunities to stay engaged, develop skills, and build character.
